 We took the decision to produce a FrameUp Collection i.e. a suite of ‘linked’ programs that enable data entered once to be used many times from application to achievement, to enable providers to ‘pick and mix’ to meet their needs and budget and/or to implement the collection over a planned period of time. This also means that we have been able to keep the cost of adopting FrameUp to a minimum rather than have features that providers would pay for but not use from day one.


The FrameUp Collection consists of an in-depth learner tracking and analysis tool with inbuilt ILP generator.

Features and benefits include:

  • A network program which also includes WAM (a web access module) - one database regardless of whether a learner’s achievements are updated on or off site, therefore very useful for freelance assessors who rarely visit the office base. Have peace of mind as the program is on your organisation’s network.

  • The ability for learners to choose an e-portfolio or paper based portfolio route – give learners a real choice, whilst still keeping all learner tracking and management data in one place enabling information such as assessor’s caseloads to be available at the click of a button.

  • Learners can upload evidence, view their achievements and forthcoming reviews, communicate with their assessor via a message board 24/7- involve your learners, encourage them to take ownership of their progress and be proactive in submitting evidence in innovative formats – videos, photos etc. Reduce the time required for completion of their qualifications.

  • Assessors can assess a learner’s evidence, update their achievements and review visits, communicate with their learners by a message board, see at a glance the progress of their learners at a time and place convenient to them- make sure your assessors use their time effectively, reduce the time and money they spend on travelling and keeping in touch with learners but still get timely successes.   • Employers and Schools can view their the progress of their learners at any time-encourage participation/employer engagement, reduce the time spent by your staff on progress reporting and enhance the level of service you offer.

  • ILP generator- save time and ensure the learner’s Individual Learner Plan (ILP) is a ‘live document’, the ILP is automatically populated and updated from FrameUp as a learner’s achievement and review dates are updated.

  • Subcontracting reporting and subcontractor portal- no longer do you have to waiton a subcontractor for an update on learner progress; reports such as % Framework and % Train to Gain achieved giving ‘traffic light’ indicators indicating whether the subcontractor’s learners are on or below target are available at the click of a button.

  • Can track learner’s on various streams of funding and different programme types e.g. Apprenticeships, Train to Gain, Full Cost, Foundation Learning – get a full picture of your provision, assessor caseloads, range of delivery with and individual mployer etc. No need to refer to several different databases.

  • Staff Time Log for calculating the cost of assessment and internal verification- is your provision cost effective? How do you know? Are some assessors costing you more than others?

  • Customisable Checklist- enhance your internal auditing processes; make sure required documentation has been completed.

  • Ability to attach important documents to a learner’s record-reduce the worry of mislaying or losing important documents such as completed induction and learner eligibility checklist. Store them electronically where they can be readily retrieved.

  • Audit Trail – monitor the activity of your users at the click of a button, or check if a learner’s record is up to date.
